Searching for researches and tools of application sharing, I came across this great website ”Screen Sharing Tools and Technology: A Mini-Guide” at url
The author of this article made it quite very simple and easy for even somebody having no clue about application sharing. The author also gave me allot of work though. I thought there were just a few tools to study, but now this list is kind of long and this is only supposed to include be the popular, how many with the unpopular. One thing is for sure that I won’t be able to study all of their code due to time and openness of some products, but I would like to study each product’s weakness and strong points.
The author had a category of features, but I must still see what feature category would best fit my research. I had posted some test before like bandwidth consumption and stability and as such.
I also have to keep in mind about the environment of teaching. Need more understanding on the concepts of virtual classrooms.
